GHADI (غدي) is Lebanon's submission to the Academy Awards in 2014 as Best Foreign Language Film. It's one of the very best submissions I've seen this year if not the finest. The fanciful comedic style, distinguished cinematography by Karim Ghorayeb, and first person narration remind us of fine Italian filmmaking in the style of Giuseppe Tornatore.
