All films that participate in the festival will have a unique chance to be guided through the challenging awards season, showcasing all foreign films to the Academy members, the Hollywood Foreign Press, and all Guilds for enhanced exposure, media attention, and awards consideration. This year the festival will be held at AMC Marketplace in Marina del Rey from November 10-16. The Opening night gala will be held on November 9 at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. The Closing night gala will be on November 17 at the DGA in West Hollywood. Taiwan Film Day will be on November 10 at AMC Marina del Rey featuring Taiwan's submission Goddamned Asura. Martial Arts Day will be held in Culver City on November 12 featuring the Bruce Lee Award in partnership with the Bruce Lee Foundation. The Awards ceremony will be on November 18 at the Saban Theatre featuring the Snow Leopard Awards.
